From the Designer
We chose a butterfly in a forest because recovery rarely feels like a straight road with a clear sign at every turn. A forest can be uncertain; a butterfly is delicate; neither image looks powerful in the obvious sense. Yet both know how to change and keep moving.
The idea behind this coin is that a person does not need to see the whole path to continue. Sometimes the next opening between the trees is enough. We hope the coin can hold that thought for someone in recovery: change is already happening, even before you can fully see where it is taking you.
